A running list of links or blogs I find useful and informative....

- Cranach the blog of Veith
I love Dr Veith's blog, as he has drawn my attention to some extremely interesting and thought provoking articles.  He will cite them/link to them, and then proceed to summarize them and/or expand on them.  He has a doctoral degree in and used to teach history; he is also a Lutheran with a philosopher's heart, which I love.

- Jonathon Fisk's Pod Casts and other material, like his ongoing radio program on KFUO (LCMS Radio) called Sharper Iron and his excellent books like Echo.
A Lutheran pastor, Rev Fisk is engaging, well spoken, well-read and a little non-conformist.  I know about his earlier material--Worldview Everlasting--but haven't accessed it.  I'm a little fan-girl-ish about his podcasts, have started to adopt his Everbook model, and really enjoy listening to his sermons. His taste in literature--Dune!  The Lord of the Rings!--is right up my alley, too.

- Generation Cedar
I just discovered Kelly's blog and I really enjoy her perspective.  She is an intellectual and strongly compassionate woman, wife and mother.  Too many of my early mom-role-models were not enough of what she portrays in her blog--common sense, biblical perspective on the value of family and traditional roles, very articulate and incisive in her discussions, and what seems to be a very sound theological grounding for her worldview.

- Nancy Pearcey
I discovered Nancy Pearcey's book "Total Truth" almost by accident and it changed my intellectual world!  Her clear insight into the conglomeration of worldviews which exist and oppose Christianity is eye-opening; she offers the historical perspective on how those worldviews arose, with excellent scholarly references and an engaging style.  She provides insight not only into how the Christian worldview is superior at creating a unified approach but also how Christians can compassionately engage the world.  Thoroughly excellent work.

- A Collection of Prayers
I found this link to a treasury of prayers by Rev Stratman via Dr Veith's blog and love it.  I frequently find myself at a loss for clear thoughts, let alone words, when I pray; I appreciate the topical index and the way the prayers have been selected and curated.  I have this site saved as a favorite on my phone and it is an easy way to intentionally incorporate prayer throughout my day.
